Not generic prompting theory. Not tech hype. One course per industry — built around the specific documents, obligations, and workflows of each profession.
When Claude launched, it became clear almost immediately that it was genuinely useful for professional writing and analysis tasks. But the generic AI courses available — the same "here's how to write a prompt" material that could apply to anyone — weren't serving professionals who had specific compliance obligations, specific document types, and specific professional risks.
An accountant sending a client email with a hallucinated tax rate is a different problem to a teacher giving a student a resource with wrong information. A solicitor quoting an invented case citation is a different problem to a government officer pasting Cabinet-in-Confidence content into an AI tool. These aren't just different use cases — they're different liability frameworks.
Claude Training School Australia was built on a simple premise: if you're going to teach AI tools to professionals, you have to build the course around their profession — the actual work, the actual compliance obligations, and the actual risks. Everything else is just theory.
Each course was built through deep research into the specific profession — the typical documents created, the regulatory environment, the compliance obligations, and the places where AI use creates risk. The content was developed alongside practitioners in each field to ensure the exercises reflect real work, not textbook examples.
Every course was then reviewed against the relevant professional standards — the Privacy Act, the Legal Profession Uniform Law, the JORC Code, AHPRA guidelines, APS Values, AITSL Professional Standards — to ensure the compliance guardrails we teach are accurate and current.
The result is eight courses that feel like they were made for you — because they were.
"The best prompt you write today will save you an hour tomorrow — but only if you remember that Claude is your first draft, not your final answer."
— Core principle, every Claude Training School course
Every course, every exercise, every piece of content is built around these four ideas.
We don't teach AI with a side of your profession. We teach your profession, with AI as the tool. Every example, prompt, and exercise is grounded in the work you actually do — not in generic use cases.
Every course teaches the guardrails as rigorously as the skills. Privacy Act, professional conduct rules, de-identification practices — because for professionals, using AI carelessly is a professional liability, not just a mistake.
No lengthy theory sessions. Participants are building and testing prompts from the first exercise. Every session has a hands-on component. Every participant leaves with real outputs they created themselves.
The single most important thing a participant takes from the day isn't knowledge — it's a personal prompt library, built during the course for their specific role, ready to use from the next morning.
We're unambiguous about what Claude is and isn't. It's a powerful drafting and thinking tool — and it's also capable of producing confident errors, invented citations, and outputs that look correct but aren't. We teach both sides.
Every course includes dedicated time on the hallucination problem — with profession-specific examples of where confident AI errors are most dangerous. A legal professional quoting an invented case. A health professional relying on an outdated drug dosage. A government officer citing a legislation section that doesn't say what Claude says it says.
"Claude drafts. You verify. The professional responsibility is always yours."
This isn't a liability disclaimer we bury in the fine print — it's the core principle we repeat throughout every course. Participants leave knowing exactly where to verify outputs for their profession, and why the professional judgment that makes them good at their job is more important than ever when working with AI.
We're not here to sell you on AI. We're here to help you use it well.
No. Claude Training School Australia is an independent training provider. Claude is a product of Anthropic; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Anthropic. We use Claude as the AI tool in our courses because we believe it is the best available tool for professional writing and analysis tasks.
Our facilitators have backgrounds in their respective industries — not just in AI or technology. The Finance & Accounting course is facilitated by someone with accounting practice experience. The Legal course is facilitated by a legal professional. This is deliberate — you shouldn't have to explain your industry to your AI trainer. Contact us for details on the facilitator for a specific course.
We update course content continuously — both to reflect changes in Claude's capabilities and to keep the compliance content current (tax rates, regulatory updates, professional standards). If you attend a course and find something out of date, let us know — we take that seriously.
